Owner of Southhouse Designs
Over 2 years, I have contracted with 8 different students and "professionals" to develop my website. Cameron is the only one that I have been satisfied with. Cameron actually listened to me. He very quickly demonstrated that he had a solid grasp of what I wanted to achieve, including the look and the functionality I wanted and needed. Even though I had already committed to a development tool he didn't know, he was willing to adapt. When I needed to make concessions due to feasibility and budget, he pointed these out with viable alternatives. He delivered a finished product of exactly what we discussed, on budget and on time - unheard of! But Cameron went beyond this. He graciously tutored me a bit to get me over a couple of technical stumbling blocks that had stymied me as I was building my content. Professional, knowledgeable, timely, oh yes, and genuine. Can't ask for much more!
Professor at Northwest Missouri State University
Cameron is one of the brightest student web developers I've met in twelve years of teaching. What really makes him stand out are his stand-up morals and kind personality. He is hard working, hands down. He’s self-motivated and resourceful. He is many years more advanced than his peers in his understanding of business processes and business relations. Cameron is advanced in his knowledge of web site architecture options, content management systems, HTML and CSS -- I’m sure he’ll show you samples of his work, and you’ll see for yourself his solid approach to site structure and solid design. He’s very sensitive to multi-screen development. He’s worked with several content management systems, to the extent that he can advise businesses on possible web solutions. I’ve personally sent some freelance clients his way, something I’m loath to do after some bad experiences matching students with people who ask me the standard Got-any-students-who-want-to-practice-their-web-building-skills question. After acting as advisor for Cameron’s summer internship, I could clearly see that he’s different. He does what he says he’ll do; he doesn’t over promise; he finds solutions to problems; he accepts personal responsibility for his work; and he asks a lot of the right questions.
